Lianne and tom - Hendra barns - cornwall

"Wow wow WOW!!!! I'm going to be sat here all evening looking through these!   Simply incredible!    Thank you SO much!!!  You're amazing and very talented!!!

I knew that Lianne and Tom were planning a very intimate wedding, so I was totally over the moon when they asked me to photograph their special day...  made even more exciting that it would require an adventure down to Cornwall!     I booked myself into a gorgeous bed and breakfast called The Plume of Feathers in Mitchell (I would totally recommend a stay there!), which turned out to be where the family were meeting the night before.     It was lovely to meet all the family, and gave the chance to start snapping away!

The wedding itself was held at Hendra Barns which is a stunning, private venue set in the Cornish countryside, with it's own lake and Bluebell woods.   There are converted barns for guests to stay in, and a large glass conservatory which is perfect for a small wedding reception.   Lianne's dress was handmade for her, and her talented cousin Sarah adorned Lianne's headband with miniature fresh flowers on the morning of the wedding.   The atmosphere was so personal and relaxed, and I was able to wander from room to room capturing the morning, with bacon sarnies cooked on mass by Lianne's brother, and both bridal and groom prep!

Lianne walked arm in arm with her Dad across the grass, with her daughter Summer and sister Lyndsey, to the stunning handcrafted wooden arbor which looks out to the lakes, where Tom was stood waiting for his bride.    The setting is just idyllic, and after the emotional ceremony, there were so many beautiful places for photographs of the newlyweds.    Pimms and canapés were served outside, and later wood fired pizzas were cooked up, before the awesome wedding singer got the party started and some serious dancing went down!

Just an incredible day : ) x
